Troy Shanon Sargent

Troy Shanon Sargent, born October 31st, 1969, passed away at age 52 on June 3rd, 2022 in Sachse, Texas.
Born in Warren, Michigan, he was the son of Earl Sargent Jr, and Carolyn Sargent. He was employed as a Registered Nurse Case Manager for a variety of insurance companies through the years. He enjoyed cycling and outdoor hobbies.
He believed in Jesus Christ as his Savior and was baptized November 7th, 2010.
He will be remembered for his sense of humor, shrewd negotiating skills and deep love for his family. He had a soft heart for people in need.
He is survived by his daughter, Emily Erickstad (and her husband, Mitchell), his son Troy James Sargent, parents Earl and Carolyn Sargent, brother Earl Sargent III (married to Charm Sargent) and a niece and nephews.
We find comfort knowing he is no longer in pain and at peace with God.
The visitation will be held Sunday, June 12th from 2-4PM at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home in Lavon, Texas.
The funeral and graveside service will be held on Monday, June 13th at 2PM at Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home in Lavon, Texas.
