Tresa Lorene Holt

Tresa Lorene Holt, age 64, passed away peacefully at her home in Farmersville, Texas on September 29, 2021. She was born on June 18, 1957 in Dallas, Texas to Richard Shelby and Barbara Jean (French) Clardy. Tresa married Sylvester D. Holt in 1983 in Garland, Texas. She worked as a caregiver and a chef.
Tresa had many nicknames that she was lovingly called by family and friends; TT, Tree, Terry, Lit Bit, Granny, and Oh Granny. Tresa loved being a mom and grandmother.

Tresa is survived by her husband, Sylvester D. Holt of Farmersville, Texas; mother, Barbara J. Clardy of Princeton, Texas; daughter, Shelby McCarty and husband, Benny of Farmersville, Texas; son, Buddy Starkey and wife, Emily of Gladewater, Texas; sisters, Diana Gurley and husband, Ray of Little Elm, Texas and Tammie Gurley and husband, Jerry of Little Elm, Texas; brothers, Richard Clardy and wife, Tammy of Trenton, Texas and Chris Clardy and friend, Kevin of Longview, Texas; honorary daughters, Debra Martin of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Tyron Maten of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Sarah Ballew and husband, Royce of Leonard, Texas, Deana Healy of Sanger, Texas, and Shelley Jarrell and husband, Eric of Krum, Texas; god son, Derrick Strawn of Princeton, Texas; grandchildren, Austin Franklin of Farmersville, Texas, Lindsey and Toby Starkey of Gladewater, Texas, Brandi McCarty of Rockwall, Texas and Ethen and Even Jarrell of Krum, Texas; great-grandchild, Dawson McCarty of Rockwall, Texas; friends, Albert Ankney of Mangum, Oklahoma, Debraha Lephakis of Princeton, Texas, Vickie Welborn of Trenton, Texas and Jr. and Travin Jiles of Quanah, Texas; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
