Travis "Wagg" Waggoner

November 26, 1952 — November 30, 2021

Travis Edward Waggoner, 69, of Kaufman county, passed from this life to his eternal life on
November 30, 2021. Born on November 26, 1952 in Houston, Texas to Maxine Waggoner and
Travis Waggoner, who preceded him in death. He married the love of his life, Terri Waggoner,
on January 20, 1996 and they celebrated 25 years at the start of 2021.
He attended the University of Louisville, where he played baseball for the Cardinals before
moving to the Minor Leagues, where he played for St. Louis. He's always had a love of music,
playing the drums and singing, as well as cooking. He owned his own restaurant in Whitehouse,
Texas. Travis was of the Christian Faith, and was a member of Calvary Temple in Irving, Texas,
which is also where he met his wife. He was very active as a missionary, traveling to Africa,
Mexico, Canada, and all across the United States.
Travis influenced many lives, as he never met a stranger. He's made countless relationships all
across the globe.
He leaves behind his wife, Terri Waggoner, of Kaufman County and his two children. His
daughter, Sarah Waggoner of Kaufman County, his son, Joshua Waggoner and his wife Carley
and their daughter Savannah of Garland, Texas, and his sister, Brenda Waggoner of Dallas,
Texas.
