Thomas Lee Strickland

Thomas Lee Strickland, age 83, of Sulphur Springs, Texas, passed away April 25, 2023.  He was born September 3, 1939 to Albert and Vera Strickland.  He was the second oldest of seven children.  Thomas met Marian in junior high, and their everlasting love story began.  Thomas and Marian were married July 12, 1957 in Lavon, Texas.  Together they raised five children.

Thomas was a hard worker all his life and worked many jobs; but his passion was carpentry.

Thomas was loved by many, and he loved in return - but no love was equal to his love for his Savior and his family.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Vera Strickland, brother Billy Strickland, sisters Barbara Gracy and Betty Strickland, and granddaughter, Rachael Strickland.  Thomas leaves a legacy of love and faithfulness.

He is survived by his loving wife, Marian Strickland; children: Karen Brasher and husband Bill, Keith Strickland and wife Debbie, Terry Strickland and wife Julie, Kathy Sims and Randall Strickland and wife Brooke; 14 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
