Sylvia Lynn Moore, 64, left her earthly body in the early morning hours of September 28th, 2021 surrounded by family and loved ones.
Sylvia Lynn was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, moved many times throughout her childhood and eventually became a longtime resident of Allen, TX. She spent her early career years in dentistry and orthodontic practices and later went on to receive her degree in organizational management with a focus on executive coaching for a global clientele. She was creative, warm, and could make friends wherever she went. She was an avid reader, a life-long learner and had a passion for advocacy.
She is survived by her only daughter and son-in-law Laura and Doug Ketcham of Wylie,TX; her partner Steven S. Henley of Plano, TX; her parents Mary Jane and Charles H. Moore of Spring, TX, her sister Leslie Moore of Dallas, TX and her sister Cara Moore of Galveston, TX. A celebration of her life will take place in the near future. Memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or Americans for the Arts in loving memory of Sylvia L. Moore.
