Susan Dawn Hughes

Susan Dawn Hughes, 47, returned to her heavenly home on May 23, 2021 after a valiant battle with a long illness. Her devotion to family and her firm belief in God supported her in this struggle and ultimately gave her peace.
Susan was blessed with a lot of loving family and friends. She married her best friend, Wayne Hughes, on September 28, 2013 in Las Vegas, NV. Susan had 3 children she loved with all her heart. She had a kind heart and would have given anything she had to someone in need. You instantly became a friend the first time you met her. She chose to love first.
"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God."

Susan is survived by her husband, Wayne Hughes; her son Christopher Meheut and daughter Emma Hughes; her parents Janis and George Gruber, her brother, Todd Greene. She is preceded in death by her son, Dylan Meheut; and her father Dwight Greene.
Susan will be having a Celebration of Life/Homegoing service at Cornerstone Church at 10:30 a.m. on June 12. Brother Jim Everidge will officiate the service.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
