Sue Yvonne Speir (Suzie), daughter of the late Ruth and Ed Bailey, passed from this life into Heaven on January 25th, 2023 in Dallas, Texas. She was born in Prague, Oklahoma on February 12, 1946. Sue had a laugh that was larger than life. She brought copious amounts of joy and fun to every single room she walked into. She was adored by so many, and will be deeply missed. We celebrate the ripple effect of joy, laughter, love, and genuine kindness (and sass) she leaves behind to those of us who will be forced to miss her presence every day. She will be forever a part of each of our stories, and in our hearts until we get to hug her again at Heaven’s gates.
Sue is preceded in death by her daughter, Rheba Gaylene Bybee, and granddaughter, Addison Rebekah McNeel. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Leon Speir, son Darren Speir and his wife, Rhonda Speir, daughter Tiffeny McNeel and her husband, Matthew McNeel, grandchildren Kambri, Kinsley and Zoe McNeel, Blake Speir and Morgan Gunn, and Stephen Whitehead, great-grandchildren Skyler Whitehead, Beckham, Hudson and Emerson Speir, and Remington, Cora and Henry Gunn, brothers Danny, Phillip and sister Rebecca Bailey, and many nieces and nephews and friends.
