Steve Allen Roberts passed away unexpectedly from health complications on September 20, 2021 in McKinney, TX. Steve was a loving husband, father, recent grandfather, friend and is now with his beloved Lord and Savior.
Steve was born on August 9th, 1958 to Randall Roberts and Gladys Allen Roberts in Sandy Springs, Georgia. His favorite things in life were cooking, hunting, fishing, Georgia Bulldog Football, and last but not least, his family and friends. To know Steve was to love Steve, and he never met a stranger! His love language was hosting anyone and everyone, and most importantly, feeding them (and God could that man cook!).
Steve is survived by his wife Susan; his children, Reese (Brittany) and Holly; granddaughter Quinn (7 weeks); dog Zeke; sister, Connie (Dee) Parker, brothers Dennis (Suzanne) Roberts and Randy Roberts; sister-in-law Lee Anne (Bill) Bowling; brother-in-law Bruce (Sue) Young; aunt Marie (Bobby) Glover, uncle John Oscar Allen; nieces and nephews Bart (Becky) Copeland, Keri (Kyle) Garrett, Whit (Melissa) Roberts, Beth (Todd) Smith, Beth (Leigh) Carlson-Young, Lindsay (Brian) Lanford, Will (Shannon) Young and Sean Culverhouse, and numerous great nieces and nephews.
A virtual celebration and toast to Steve's life will begin at 5PM CST on September 26, 2021 via Zoom information listed below. Having a cocktail in hand is encouraged. We welcome those who are comfortable to share their favorite memories of Steve at that time and/or leave a comment here for us to reminisce together.
