Ryan Lee Rivera

Ryan Lee Rivera, 28, of Floresville, Texas passed away March 11, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. Ryan was born November 14, 1992 in San Antonio to James Patrick Rivera and Jonnie McCalib.

Ryan graduated from Anna High School in Anna, Texas and then attended college where he became a Certified Nursing Assistant in which he was able to give back to those in need. He resided in Floresville for the last five years and enjoyed being close to where his mother was. Ryan was of the Baptist faith and goes on to rest in his Father's arms now.

Left to cherish his memory are Ryan's parents James and Lori Rivera of Anna, Texas and Jonnie and Larry McCalib of Floresville, Texas, grandmother, Josie Mendez of Dallas, Texas, sister, Jennifer Ha and husband Garland of Plano Texas, brothers, Patrick James and wife Tiffany, nephew James and niece Savannah Rivera of Farmersville, Texas, Philip Michael and wife Brenda, nephews Philip and Thomas Rivera of Anna, Texas, and Aaron White and wife Sharon of Princeton, Texas, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Ryan was preceded by his grandmother Nancy Fleming.

Pallbearers are James Rivera, Patrick Rivera, Philip Rivera, Aaron White, Austin Martinez, and Garland Ha.

There was a visitation and service at Franklin Funeral Home in Floresville, Texas on Thursday March 18, 2021, and there will be a visitation held at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 601 S. Tennessee St., McKinney, Texas 75069 Wednesday March 24, 2021 at 11:00am followed by a service at 12:00pm and then a burial at Forest Grove/Fitzhugh Cemetery in Lucas, Texas at 1:15pm.
