Ruth Shirock

Ruth Shirock, age 96, of McKinney, Texas passed away peacefully of natural causes on November 27, 2022.   Ruth was born in 1926 in Allentown, Pennsylvania.  She moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado in 2004 and then to McKinney, Texas in 2021.  She spent her last years planting flowers and vegetables and tending to the gardens.  She was predeceased by her husband Stephen Shirock and her brothers and sisters, Richard Layton, Mae Dorney, Betty Sinkbile, Charles Layton, and Robert Layton. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Chris Washko as well as many nieces and nephews.  She will be greatly missed by all those that she left behind.
