Ronnie Dean, age 63 of Nevada, Texas passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, June 24, 2023 surrounded by family and friends. Ronnie was born in McKinney, Texas on September 29, 1959 to Weldon and Mary Ann Dean.
Ronnie grew up in Sachse and attended Weaver & Shorehaven Elementary, Seller's Middle School, and Garland High School. He spent most of his free time hanging out with his best and lifelong friend Owen Fletcher. Ronnie enjoyed the outdoors, playing ball, fishing, riding motorcycles and horses.
Ronnie had 4 children: Robert, Amanda, Stephanie, and Jennifer from his first marriage. Later in life he met Yolanda Manzaneres and her son Bobby. They married and joined their families together. They lived 34 years together, making a lifetime of memories and building a successful business. They loved their kids and grandbabies and enjoyed going to rodeos on weekends. Ronnie would head or heel in the roping events and later introduced his love for roping to his son, Robert. Ronnie and Yolanda also loved traveling; he really loved traveling to Mexico to visit Yolanda's family and talked about moving there when they retired.
Ronnie is preceded in death by his father, Weldon Dean, mother, Mary Ann Oliver Dean, daughter Stephanie Ann Dean Crosby, grandson Jase Hooper, sister, Donna Kay Dean, and brother-in-law Jerry Wayne Pickle.
He is survived by his wife Yolanda Dan, and his children Robert Dean and wife Shelly, Amanda Vaughan and husband Brad, Luke Crosby, Jennifer Young and husband Steve, Bobby Manzanares and wife Lacy.
Ronnie had 16 grandbabies to love on: Blake and Bri, Vincent and Melanie, Cameryn and Ethan, Dominic, Preston and Lindsey, Parker, Gabby, Matthew, Michael, Katelyn, Bailey and Brodie; and 11 great-grandbabies: Chandler, Cash, Hazel, Stella, Hudson, Olive, Cheyenne, Christian Scott, Alexander, Masynn, Maebry and Corbyn.
Ronnie is also survived by his brothers and sisters Petey Dean and wife Joyce, Patricia Graves and husband Joe, Linda Pickle, Mark Dean and wife Norma, Jerry Dean and wife Wendy, and Larry Dean and wife Cathy, Hilda Lomelio, Anna Lomelio, Emma Lomelio, LIlia Lomelio, Efran Lomelio, Ramon Lomelio, Edwana Lomelio, his aunt and uncle Charles and Beverly Massagee, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Ronnie was loved by many and will be greatly missed every day.
