Regina Lynn Dobecka

Regina Lynn Dobecka, passed away on December 1, 2023, in McKinney, Texas. She was born on June 26, 1958.

Regina worked as a dedicated secretary for the Collin County Corrections Department for  19 years. Outside of her career, Regina had a creative spirit and enjoyed indulging in crafts and jewelry making in her spare time. 

Regina is preceded in death by her mother, Helen Marie Ratliff, as well as her grandparents Ed Ervin and Rosie Lee Jeffcoat and grandmother Annie Todd and her cherished fur babies named Miguel and Margarita.

Regina's memory will forever be treasured by her surviving family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, David. Regina also leaves behind her sister Cheryl Kirkpatrick of Spring, Texas; son Matt Holcombe and wife Stephanie of Caddo Mills, Texas; grandchildren Grayce and Dylan Holcombe; mother-in-law Alice Dobecka, whom she considered her "Mama"; brother-in-law Matt Dobecka and wife Rachel of Howe, Texas; nieces Allyson and Elizabeth Dobecka; cousin Susan Light and husband of Montalba, Texas; and furry Baby Chloe.

A Family Meal to honor Regina's life will be held on December 8, 2023, at Trinity Baptist Church in Farmersville, Texas. The service will being at  3:00 PM. The address of the church is 512 McKinney St, Farmersville, TX 75442.
