Raylee Lynn Grimes

July 6, 1999 — February 17, 2024

Wylie, Texas

Raylee Lynn Grimes, a shining light to all who knew her, was born into a family filled with love and warmth, the daughter of Angelo and Andrea Grimes, and the sister of Hayden. She entered this world on July 6, 1999, in Dallas, Texas, and departed on February 17th, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, courage, and determination.

Raylee was blessed with the love of her grandparents Kelly Ramirez, Ray Ramirez (Deceased), Lydia Grimes, Charles R. Grimes (Deceased) and Freddie Lynn. She was surrounded by aunts, uncles, and cousins who cherished her dearly, including Joshua Ramirez (Liza), Vanessa Grimes, Davina Sentak (Dave), Freddie Lynn Jr., Tina Scibilia (Chris), Kimberly Battle (John).

From her early years at Groves Elementary School in Wylie to her graduation from Wylie High School in 2017, Raylee’s journey was marked by a vibrant spirit and a thirst for knowledge and self-improvement. After graduation, she joined her father at 1050 BBQ and later worked alongside her mother at Sun Lounge Studio. From 2017 to 2019, Raylee worked at Foxiis Bar and Grill, tending to customers and promoting the desserts. And don’t forget to take one home, as she did often. During this time, she went to the Esthiology Program at the Aveda Institute as Raylee’s true passion lay in Aesthetics, and she further pursued her dream by studying National Laser Institute – School of Medical Aesthetics, eventually opening her own studio, Raylee Aesthetics.

Raylee’s dedication and determination were evident in everything she did. She excelled as a top salesperson, constantly seeking opportunities to enhance her skills and knowledge. Her love for adventure took her hiking, practicing yoga, and exploring the beauty of nature with her beloved dogs by her side. She found joy in travel, particularly in Mexico, where she experienced new cultures and made cherished memories with friends and family.

Raylee was not just strong-willed and confident; she was also wise beyond her years. She possessed a remarkable ability to navigate life’s challenges with grace and resilience. Raylee was unapologetically herself, never shying away from difficult conversations or setting boundaries when necessary. While her directness may have caught some off guard, it was a testament to her authenticity and integrity.

Let us embrace life with the same passion and courage that she did, and let her memory serve as a guiding light in our darkest moments. Though she may no longer walk among us, Raylee’s spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Rest in peace, dear RayRay. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
