Pfc. Weldon Alonzo Davis

PFC. Weldon Davis 25, was born in Tioga, TX to Mable Davis on September 9, 1926. He served his country in the United States Army and was held as a Prisoner of War after he was captured on November 30, 1950 during the Korean War. He was unaccounted for after the war and is presumed to have died or been killed while in captivity in the hands of the opposing forces. After 61 years away from home, he will finally be laid to rest on American Soil February 6, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery with Military Honors. He is survived by his cousin Helen White of Wylie, Tx.
