Pauline M. Stanley, 88, of Garland, Texas passed from this life in Garland on April 24, 2012. She was born in Crowell, Texas on June 17, 1923 to Parlin and Winnie Morgan McBeath.
Pauline was a member of Freeman Heights Baptist Church in Garland and she loved to volunteer at Baylor Hospital in Garland.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, James Marshall Stanley; parents, Parlin and Winnie McBeath; two brothers, Allen McBeath and William McBeath; and grandson, Bryan Patrick Bjornson.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Allen Lee Bjornson and his wife, Madeline of Garland, Dr. James Bjornson and his wife, Mona of Alaska, Benny Bjornson of Dallas, Texas, Bruce Stanley and his wife, Melonie of Gladewater, Texas, Bob Stanley and wife, Susan of Katy, Texas, and Sheri Nelson and her husband, Rick of Cedar Hill, Texas; thirteen grandchildren, Angela Blevins and her husband, Mason, Ricky Nelson, Jr., Heather Blanton, John tanley and his wife, Wendy, Melissa Kellogg and her husband, John, David Stanley, Jason Bjornson Howie and his wife, Ashley, Shauna Pierce and her husband, Jayson, Sara Proctor and her husband, Chris, Brandi Bjornson, Michael Amos, Dr. Joseph Amos and Gina; 11 great- grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 12:30 until 2:00 pm on Friday, April 27, 2012 at Freeman Heights Baptist Church, 1120 North Garland Avenue, Garland, TX 75040. The Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 pm with the Reverend Larry Venable officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts in honor of Pauline may be given to the Freeman Heights Missions Program by writing a check to the church and indicating for "missions" on the memo line.
Burial will take place at 12:00 pm on Saturday, April 28 in Springtown Cemetery, Springtown, Texas.
