Lan Huong Thi Nhan, a beloved sister, mother and grandmother, passed away on April 29, 2023, at the age of 58.
Lan was born on April 19, 1965 to Quan Thanh Nhan and Hanh Thi Huynh in Saigon, Vietnam. Lan moved to the United States after spending 9 years in Belgium.
Lan was a dedicated mother to her three children: Christina and her husband Danny Duong, Mary and her husband Gary Nguyen, and youngest son David. She was also a proud grandmother to her two grandchildren: Elliott and Henry.
Born into a family of five children, Lan maintained a close relationship with her siblings: Hai Thanh Nhan, Tung Thanh Nhan, Ha Ngan Thanh Nhan, and Hien Thanh Nhan. Her kindness and generosity extended to everyone around her, and she was known for putting others before herself.
In her free time, Lan enjoyed dancing, going to the beach, and spending time with family. She was also a bit of a card shark and had a passion for blackjack. Her family often joked that she had a secret deal with Lady Luck.
Lan’s legacy of love, kindness, and selflessness will continue to inspire her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
