Mounira Afif Sakhleh entered the gates of heaven on Monday, August 21, 2023. Mounira was born March 27th, 1943, in Ramallah, Palestine, to Afif Sakhleh and Badea Shunnar. She was raised in Ramallah with her five siblings, Mounir, Sameer, Sameera, Michael, and Julia and lived a majority of her life in Kuwait and Jordan. Mounira worked diligently as a tailor for luxury designs most of her life, but her most important role was that of a mother to her only child, Suzane Hishmeh.
Mounira raised Suzane with support from a loving community of her parents, siblings, and friends. Mounira enjoyed traveling the world with her daughter and her friends. Mounira was a devout Catholic and taught her daughter to love and trust in the Lord.
Mounira is survived by her daughter, Suzane, son-in-law Larry Hishmeh, and her grandchildren, Ellias and Ida Hishmeh.
