Minnie Evelyn Smith

Age 89, passed from this life in Wylie, Texas. She was born in Locksburg, Arkansas to parents Bryce and Carrie Dean Raley.
She was a longtime Garland resident for over sixty years. Minnie was a member of Axe United Methodist Church in Garland, Texas.
She had worked as an accounting clerk for Electronic Data Systems and Varo in Garland, Texas during her working life.
Minnie is survived by her two sons; Charles W Smith and his wife Loretta and Glenn Smith and his wife Sheila, six grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren, two sisters, Hazel Cameron and Margaret Merritt.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd W Smith and grandson Rodney Smith.
Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Sunday afternoon December 11, 2011 at Charles W Smith and Sons 2925 Fifth St., Sachse, Texas, 972-414-5050.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday December 12, 2011 at Charles W Smith and Sons Sachse Chapel. Pastor Ben Read and Pastor Tom Westbrook will conduct the service.
She will be laid to rest by her husband Floyd in the Sachse Cemetery, Sachse, Texas.
