Michael LaFon

Michael Wayne LaFon was born March 17, 1974 in Richardson, Texas to Larry and Marilyn Horton Lafon. He married Becky Elliott on July 19, 2008. Michael graduated from Princeton High School.

Michael was a over-the-road truck driver who traveled to many states. He never met a stranger and would help anyone out, from changing tires or giving the shirt off his back. Family was number one to him and he was a country boy at heart. He loved country music, but the most important thing, he loved the Lord.

Michael is survived by his wife Becky LaFon, parents Larry and Marilyn LaFon of Princeton, Texas, grandmother Marcel LaFon, Brothers Mark and wife Sarah LaFon, and Jeremy and wife Jennifer LaFon. He is also survived by his sister Ashley LaFon of McKinney, Texas, along with nephews Fisher, Caydan, Logan, Liam, and Marshall, niece Addie and many aunts, uncles and friends, as well a special friend and part of his family, Gary Vine.

Michael was preceded in death by his grandfathers J.D Horton, Sr. and J.C LaFon, as well as his Grandmother Addie Horton, and Great-Grandmother Ruby Harmon
