McKenzie Lee Wilson was born on September 20, 1936 and passed away on September 12, 2022.
McKenzie Lee (Mack) Wilson was born to McKenzy Jackson Wilson and Tommie Valley (Lee) Wilson on September 20, 1936 in Celina, Texas.
Mack was preceded in death by an infant son, Kenneth Ray Wilson and his parents.
Mack married Barbara Sue Langston on October 18, 1957, they were married 65 years this year.
In addition to his wife, Mack is survived by sons, McKinzie Lynn Wilson of Garland, Charles Brandon Wilson and wife Yvonne of Royce City and one daughter, Laura Jane Wilson of Garland. Mack had 5 beautiful granddaughters, Leigh Jordan Wilson, Chelsie Marie Pierantozzi and husband Ryan Pierantozzi, Kathleen McKenzie Willingham, Kaleigh Sue Thomas, and Danielle Alexander Thomas, and one great-grandaughter Zoey McKenzie Willingham. One sister, Mildred Ann Allen and husband Jack Allen.
Mack graduated from Celina High School in 1955 and later received an Associate Degree from Richland College. He retired from Texas Instruments. Upon retirement, he went to work for Hoffman and Slagle Plumbing installing water heaters.
He spent several years working in Little League Baseball and the Boy Scouts. Mack loved helping the neighbors with projects. He also enjoyed camping, fishing and dove hunting.
There will be "A Private Celebration of Life" at his home in Garland.
His ashes will be buried in the Wilson Cemetery in Aubrey Texas.
