Marilyn Kay Shores

Marilyn Kay McLaughlin Shores was lifted by Angels and went to the Lord on September 21, 2024 at the age of 83. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on September 26, 1940 and raised by her granny Catherine Bradley, mother Loretta Robbins, father Archie Robbins. 

Marilyn lived a fascinating life traveling the world and lived in many places throughout the Country making her very worldly. She had a deep love and passion for giving gifts, decorating her cozy home, hunting antiques, cooking and sharing hand-written recipes. She loved her children, and so loved her dogs, enjoyed engaging in great conversations and being a mentor to family and friends. 

Her service will be held at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, 600 S Jupiter Rd, Richardson, TX 75081 on Friday October 4, 2024 at 10:30am followed by her burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 3900 Rowlett Rd, Rowlett, TX 75088. Her love for flowers are appreciated and sent to St Joseph’s Catholic Church.
