Marie Annette "Tammy" Garcia-Garza

Marie Annette Tammy Garcia-Garza of McKinney, Texas and Denver, Colorado passed away August 12, 2021 at the age of sixty-four. She was born on July 16, 1957 to Arturo Garcia and Cecelia Aragon of Denver, Colorado. Tammy's childhood and young adult life were spent in Denver, Colorado. She then traveled to McKinney, Texas where she met her husband, Robert E Garza, and they married in 1972. Robert and Tammy were blessed with five children throughout the years and lived in McKinney, Texas and Denver, Colorado to be close to family. Tammy's work history varied, but Tammy was mostly a homemaker. Tammy was a loving daughter, sister, friend, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother. Tammy loved to dance, especially to Tejano music. She loved to cook large meals for her family and friends. She loved to venture out to the casino, small game rooms around town, bingo, bowling, and anything else that could get her family together. Tammy will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her.

Garza, Jr. and wife, Laura of McKinney, Texas, Ricky P. Garza of McKinney, Texas; sons-in-law, Matt Royal, Benancio Ponse, Jr., and Elmer Dominguez, all of McKinney, Texas; mother, Cecilia Aragon of Denver, Colorado; sister, Patty Garcia and husband, Steve Archibeque of Denver, Colorado; brothers, Danny Garcia, Donald Garcia, Ronnie Garcia, and Arturo Tony Garcia, Jr., all of Denver, Colorado; grandchildren, Julian Stornello and wife, Rosanna Stornello of Princeton, Texas, Jordan Stornello of Princeton, Texas, Christopher R. Garza III of McKinney, Texas, Sierra M. Mata and husband, David of McKinney, Texas, Marquez R. Garza and Jana Avila of McKinney, Texas, Andres D. Garza and wife, Ana of McKinney, Texas, Alyssa S. Tammy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Garza, Sr.; father, Arturo Garcia; in-laws, Leo and Salud Garza; sister, Ramona Montoya; brothers-in-law, Ray Garza, Lupe Garza, and Freddy Garza; niece, Angel Garza; nephew, Donnie Garcia, Jr.; and granddaughter, Kevinnesha (Molly) Palmer Garza.
