Margaret Golden

Margaret Frances Golden, 75, of Sachse, TX, passed away on December 7, 2020 at Methodist Richardson Medical Center in Richardson, Tx.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 2:00pm at Lake View Cemetery in Lavon, TX with Wesley Keyes officiating. Arrangements for the service are made by Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home.

Margaret (Peggy) was born in El Paso, TX to Paul Hagenloh and Dorothy Hassel-Zacher on October 2, 1945. Her three siblings include Nancy Roddy (Sister), Carol Seacat (Sister), and Richard Hagenloh (Brother). She married Kenneth Golden on September 9, 1967 at First Methodist Church in El Paso, TX. Several years later, she began her career as an insurance clerk at Prudential Health Care, which later was acquired by Aetna. Margaret worked there for 25 years. A loving mother, diligent homemaker, and faithful wife, she showed respect for all around her and led by example in the ways of serving others.

Margaret is preceded in death by Carol Jean Seacat (Sister).
She is survived by Kenneth Golden (Spouse), Dorothy Taylor (Daughter), Rebecca Lopez (Daughter), and Nancy Roddy (Sister). Surviving grandchildren are Bryce & Annabelle Taylor and Kaitlyn & Jackson Lopez.

The family of Margaret wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Vincent Chan, Dr. Haas, and the nurses and doctors at Methodist Richardson Medical Center who were gracious and understanding toward her family at this uncertain time.

Pallbearers at her service will be Mark Taylor, Bryce Taylor, Jonathan Lopez, Daniel Lopez, Colin Lopez, Chip Rosales.
