Linda Gale Wilson

Linda Gale Wilson, 81, of Garland, TX, passed away on January 14, 2024. She was born on January 13, 1943, in Texarkana, AR to parents Curtis Lee and Ferris Hope O'Quinn. Linda was a beloved wife to Bill Wilson, a devoted mother to Wana Wilson, and Kurt Wilson, a cherished grandmother to Kelsey Knudson and husband Brandon, Jenna Wilson and boyfriend Cole Maxwell, a loving mother-in-law to Julie Estrella. Linda loved her sister-in-law’s has numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and long-time friends who will miss her dearly.

Linda was known for her warm and welcoming personality. She had a knack for making everyone feel welcomed and could always bring a smile to anyone's face with her infectious laughter. She had a passion for making everyone feel like the best versions of themselves. Linda graduated from Atlanta High School in Atlanta, TX and was a proud Atlanta Rabbit.  Shortly after high school, she attended cosmetology school in Texarkana, TX and pursued a career as a beautician in Dallas until she married the love of her life, Bill Wilson.

Linda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, engaging in arts and crafts, and challenging herself with crossword puzzles. She was a member of the Church of Christ and found solace in her faith.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Linda's memory to St. Jude's, a cause that was close to her heart.

Linda Gale Wilson will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of kindness, laughter, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.
