Leonard Wayne Jackson, known to many as "Wayne," passed away in Farmersville, Texas at the age of 91. He was born on September 22, 1932, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. His journey began there, where he was raised and later graduated high school.

Wayne served his country with honor as a Navy veteran. His Catholic faith was an integral part of his life and provided him with comfort and strength throughout his days.

He leaves behind a lasting legacy through his loving family. He was preceded in death by wife of 45 years, Donna Jean Deselem Jackson. Wayne is survived by three children, one son-in-law, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. His impact on each generation is a testament to the love and wisdom he shared with all those around him.

Services to celebrate Wayne's life will be held on February 27th. A Graveside Service will take place at Millwood Cemetery in Lavon followed by a gathering at Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home in Lavon to share memories and support one another through this time of loss.
