Kevin Michael Golliglee

Kevin Michael Golliglee of Sachse, Texas, lost his battle with lung cancer on January 18, 2021 at the age 62. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska on September 2, 1958, and is preceded in death by his parents Marilyn Rae Minturn and Gerald Michael Golliglee. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Mertz-Golliglee, step-son, Gunnar, step-daughters Samantha , Brandy, and her husband, Miguel; by his son and daughter Chad and Mindy, and son and daughters Chase, Megan, and Mallory; his brother Tim and his wife Lanna and nephew Parker and his wife Halley; along with several grandchildren.

After graduating high school, Kevin became a paramedic while continuing an education in the insurance field. He graduated from Oklahoma City University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science, and completed several certifications emphasized in insurance and Senior Claim Law. For over 26 years, he built a successful career in the field, and since 2016, was the Vice President of TPA Services at Salus.

He moved to Texas from Kansas City in 2002 with his wife and step-son, where they currently reside. He loved to travel, to swim, playing with his beloved dogs, and hanging out with friends while enjoying a cold Budweiser. He will truly be missed.
