Calvin Keith Mitchell, 48, of Sachse, Texas, passed away July 14, 2012 in Dallas, Texas. He was born May 25, 1964 in McKinney, Texas.
Keith was a 1982 graduate of Garland High School and was an avid hunter. He enjoyed race cars and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Mitchell; great-nephew, Eric Dalton Rios; brother in-law, Bobby Tapp; maternal grandparents, Jess and Maudie Rowland; and paternal grandparents, Elmer and Opal Mitchell.
Keith is survived by his mother, Margie Mitchell; three sisters, Brenda Tapp, Carla Tapp and her husband, James, Pam Mack and her husband, Bitsy Joe; four nieces, Shannon Reyes and her husband, Ivan, Sandra Rosas and her husband, Luis, Misty Stutts and her husband, Jason, and Tina Espinoza and her husband, Marco; nephew, Rowdy Joe Mack and his wife, Jennifer; six great-nieces; six great-nephews; and numerous other family members.
Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Monday, July 16, 2012 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 2925 5th Street, Sachse, Texas 75048.
Service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at North Cities United Pentecostal Church, 502 Beltline Road, Garland, Texas 75040. Reverend H.A. Murrell, Reverend D. G. Hargrove and Reverend Donnie Saulters officiating. Interment will follow in Sachse Cemetery, Sachse, Texas.
