Juanita Josephine Morse (née Mueller), 89, passed away on September 3, 2024, in McKinney, Texas. Born on October 12, 1934, in St. Louis, Missouri, Juanita was a lifelong nurturer whose kindness and selflessness touched all areas of her life.
Juanita spent her formative years in Van Horn, Texas, where she attended Van Horn Junior High and Van Horn High School. Her caring nature led her to a fulfilling career in healthcare. She began her journey as a Nurse's Aid at Culberson County Hospital in Van Horn, Texas, and later served as the Head of House for the mentally challenged at Rockhouse in Stephenville, Texas.
Her commitment to service extended into her spiritual life as well. A devout member of the Baptist faith, Juanita was actively involved in the First Baptist Churches of Van Horn, Stephenville, and McKinney, Texas.
Juanita's life was a testament to the power of giving. She is survived by her husband, Carl Morse; sons, Larry and Mark Morse; and daughter, Ardra Morse. She was preceded in death by her parents, Josephine and Edward Mueller, and her brother, Richard Mueller.
Juanita's legacy of kindness and dedication to others will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.
