Joseph W. Rodriguez

Joseph W. Rodriguez, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at Methodist Richardson Medical Center in Texas.

He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on November 27, 1937.   He graduated from Bishop Duffy High School, Niagara University and University of Buffalo.  He was a retired electrician after 41 years at General Motors Corp. in Lockport, NY and Arlington, TX.

Joseph was a loving husband for 64 years, volunteer fireman with Upper Mountain Fire Co. Lewiston, NY, Army Veteran, Disaster Emergency Response Team, Meals on Wheels, Mentor for Big Brothers of America.

He enjoyed running marathons, taking walks with his wife, riding his Harley Davidson, playing his trumpet, keyboards, saxophone, fishing, hunting, skydiving, flying small aircraft and traveling with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Patricia A. Rodriguez of Wylie, TX, one son Joseph W. Rodriguez Jr., 4 daughters Renee (Robert) Eagan of Virginia, Suzanne (Lee) Maciejewski of Ashford, NY, Lisa (William) Fyfe of Lewiston, NY, Tina (Frank) Townsend of Wylie, TX, six grandchildren, Jeannine, Richard, Michael, Scott, Dylan, Savannah, 5 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and deceased siblings.
