Joseph Donald Miller passed away suddenly at his home in Rockwall, Texas, on June 23, 2022. He was born on June 25, 1981 in Wylie, Texas, and is survived by his mother Melinda (Bunni) Mayfield; sisters Stacy Yoes and Courtney LaFleur; brothers-in-law, Barry Yoes and Siegan (Ziggy) LaFleur; nieces Cheyenne Yoes and Meli LaFleur; and nephew Braeden Yoes.
Joseph was known more commonly as Joe, Joey, and Uncle Sandwich. He was a fierce animal lover, expert fisherman, and avid reader. He spent his free time cuddling piles of cats, reading Stephen King, fishing with his best friend, Barry Yoes, and talking about the mysteries of the universe. If he wasn't staring at a book or down the rod of a fishing pole, he was watching the sky and considering the infinite possibilities of life, the afterlife, aliens, and more. May it bring his friends and family some comfort to know that he has unlocked the mysteries and is simply waiting for the rest of us to catch up (as usual).
