Joseph Anthony Demase

On Saturday, April 17, 2021 Joseph DeMase passed away at the age of 59 following a lengthy illness. Joe was a strong fighter but this happened to be his final battle.

Joe was born September 7, 1961 in Everett, Massachusetts to Americo and Rose (LaRosa) DeMase. He regaled everyone with stories of growing up in Boston with his three sisters, one brother, his extended family and network of friends. On February 22, 1997 he married his wife Lisa Hixson DeMase. Joe has two sons, Joseph and Joshua, and three grandchildren, Aurora, Joseph and Layla, who were the lights of his life.

Joe had a passion for life. Whether it was supporting his New England Patriots, cooking his famous Italian gravy and lasagne or supporting his son's soccer team, he put his whole self into it. There is nothing he enjoyed more than having a house full of family or his son's friends to entertain. He impacted anyone he met and will be greatly missed by many.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 24, 2021 at Charles W Smith & Sons Funeral Home in Sachse at Noon. Donations may be sent to the National Kidney Foundation.
