John Allen Johnson

John Allen Johnson, age 75, of Celina Texas, unexpectedly passed away on November 21, 2021.

He was born on September 30, 1946, to J.D. Johnson and Jennie Marie Koss Johnson in Houston Texas at St. Joseph's Hospital.
John graduated from Aldine High School in 1964. He attended the University Of Houston where he graduated with a degree in chemical engineering in 1969. He also received an MBA from the University of New Orleans in 1997 and was a certified public accountant.

He married the love of his life, Randa Louise Stevenson, on February 6, 1971 and they had two children, Jennifer Rae and Randall Allen Johnson.
He worked as a petroleum engineer and operations manager until the time of his death at such companies as Getty Oil, Texaco, Taylor Energy, and McBee Operating Company.

In his younger days, he refereed youth, high school, and even collegiate soccer games. He was an avid horse lover and found much joy in his Arabian horses. He was an active member of his neighborhood association, the Dallas Petroleum Club, and Stonebriar Community Church.

John is survived by his wife Randa Louise Stevenson Johnson, his daughter Jennifer Johnson Teague (Jeff), his son R. Allen Johnson (Sharman), his grandchildren Noah Johnson, Connor Johnson, Alex Teague, Allie Grace Teague, and Andrew Teague, his brother, Ronald Johnson (Sharon), numerous nieces, nephews, and brothers and sister-in-law.

He was preceded in death by his parents J.D. and Jennie Marie Johnson.

Visitation will be on November 28, 2021 from 1-2pm at Charles Smith and Sons Funeral Home on 601 S. Tennessee St. in McKinney, Texas 75069. A Memorial Service will follow immediately at 2pm. All who knew and loved him are invited to attend.
