Joe F. Sawyer, 55, passed away in Dallas, Texas on May 12, 2012.
He is preceded in death by his parents Tessie and Frank Sawyer and Calvin Bennett his step- father.
He is survived by his wife, Jill; son Joseph; and family members including brother-in-law and sister-in-law Chris and Terrie Wendel and their children Drew and Emma; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law Andy and Connie Tesheneck.
Joe was a master electrician starting his career at Texas A&M then working at Baylor Medco and Berg Electric in Dallas, Texas. He loved his family and was also very active in sports including softball, golf and fishing. He also loved to barbeque and was famous for his ribs, brisket and "Joe Burgers". He was a volunteer who provided support to other cancer patients.
There will be a celebration of Joe’s life on Sunday May 20, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Trinity View Park 200 E. Keck St. Irving, Texas 75060.
