Jimmie (Jim) Dale Grisham passed away on November 10, 2023, in Wylie Tx., he was 87 years old, He was born on February 20, 1936, in Quanah Texas, to Marvin and Ruby Grisham. In 1958 he moved to Ft. Benning Ga., when he enlisted in the Army. At Ft. Benning he met Barbara Anne French, and they were married February 14, 1960. He was proud that he never forgot their anniversary.

They lived most of their married life in Odessa Tx. where they raised their children. Jim was a successful salesman for State Chemical Company for 25 years, and then for Mayfield Paper Company for 26 years. He won many awards and trips during his career. They moved to Germantown Tn., in 2013 to be closer to family. While he enjoyed Tennessee his greatest wish was to return to Texas, which he always considered home. He and Anne moved to Wylie Tx on September 1, 2023.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents and his younger brother Thomas Grisham.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Grisham (French) daughter Gwen (and Steve) Loveless of Collierville, TN. His son Steven (and Char) of El Dorado, KS. His brother Kenneth (and Shirley) of Albuquerque NM. 6 Grandchildren, and 3 Great Grandchildren.

There will be a Memorial Service on January 13,2013 at 10 am at Charles Smith and Sons Funeral Home, 2925  5th St. Sachse Texas.
