Janice is preceded in death by her parents, Travis and Frances Shelton; and her brother, George Shelton. She is survived by her husband of fifty-two years, James Spiegel; two sons, David Spiegel and his wife, Kim and Darrell Spiegel and his wife, Sherry; five grandchildren, Stephanie Kavanaugh, Steven Spiegel, Derrik Spiegel, Daniel Spiegel, and Gabriel Spiegel; her sister, Yvonne Montgomery and her husband, Barry.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 21, 2011 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home in Sachse. Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Northplace Church, 2709 3rd Street, Sachse, Texas 75048. Reverend Rick DuBose officiating.
