Mr. James (Jim) Edward Bento, age 83, passed away Thursday, March 24th, 2022, in Plano, Texas.
He was born April 2, 1938, in Compton, California, to the late Joseph (Maxine) and Ruth Benjamin Bento.
Jim retired from JC Penney as a Budget Analyst after 30 years, as well as having a Tax Preparer business.
His life focused on the Lord, the Word, and church: the love for his wife: He loved boats, all types of games, his pets, and of course - football (biggest Rams fan).
Jim Bento is preceded in death by his parents; wife Linda Bento; sibling, Janette Spangler: sons, Jory Bento and Jason Bento; and grandson, Benjamin Harjo.
Jim Bento is survived by children, Randy (Melinda) Bento, Jay (Kelley) Bento, Jeff (Felicia) Bento, Jeremy Bento (Lau Lapides), Jill Hendry, Jennifer Harjo; grandchildren, Brittney, Katelyn, Kirra, Kori, Jefferey, Jackie, Sage, Aria, Chris, Courtney, Shaylynn, Allison, and Jordan; siblings, Joyce Gilmore and Jean Mellen.
