87, a lifetime resident of Garland, Texas, passed away August 25, 2012 in Garland, Texas. He was born August 27, 1924 in Garland.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John W. and Pearly Harbison; granddaughter, Crissy Pistorious; son in-law, Bill Ferguson; two brothers, Frank Harbison and Russell Harbison; and five sisters, Audrey Vasquez, Josey Wells, Ruby Beavers, Opal Harbison, and Edna White.
Jack is survived by his wife of 70 years, Nola Harbison; daughter, Jacquelyn Ferguson; son, Lloyd Harbison and his wife, Marolyn; five grandchildren, Bill Ferguson, Renee Kirk and her husband, Thom, Kim Spiegel and her husband, David, Tonya Harbison, and Brandon Harbison; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild, Hunter Jack Christenson; sister, Sue Leonard; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 2925 5th Street, Sachse, Texas 75048.
Service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at First at Firewheel Church, 5500 Lavon Drive, Garland, Texas 75040. Reverend E. Wayne Hanks officiating. Interment will follow in Sachse Cemetery, Sachse, Texas
