Jack Allan Cammack, Jr.

October 21, 1984 — March 25, 2024

Lavon, Texas

Jack Allan Cammack Jr., 39, tragically passed away on March 25, 2024, on site on State Hwy 78 and CR 550 while commuting to work. He was born October 21, 1984, in Dallas, TX.

Jack later moved to Quinlan, TX, where he attended and graduated from Quinlan High School. He became a friend to many.

Jack moved from his parents’ home at the age of 18 to experience adulthood with High School friends. He later moved back home to rediscover himself, and in 2012, he moved to Mesquite, Tx to care for his grandfather. Months later, Jack met his wife, Elizabeth, through a social dating site, where they connected almost immediately. A year later, they were married, and he became a father to his stepdaughter, whom he loved with all his heart. Jack and Elizabeth ended up having two additional children, making them a family of five. Jack proved himself to be a wonderful and dedicated husband and father. He always put in all his love for his family, making many games, school activities, unexpected doctor and hospital visits, and dropping everything instantly for his family. He was always caring for everyone’s needs above his own. Jack never stopped loving his wife and children with all his heart. They were the last people he was able to see minutes before his death on March 25, 2024. Jack loved the Lord so much that he led his family to Him. They found a church home, First Baptist of Lavon. Jack was able to witness his wife’s and daughter’s proclamation of faith.

Jack enjoyed sports, music, movies, and gaming. He connected with people instantly and was well-loved by many.

Jack is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Gonzalez Cammack, two sons, Jack Allan Cammack III and Matthew Fredrick Cammack, and daughter, Elianna Cruzita Lara. Although he has left two young children, his daughter, and his wife behind, he will always remain in their thoughts, hearts, and prayers.

In addition to his immediate family, he is also survived by his father, Jack Allan Cammack, Sr., mother, Jennifer Susan Hogan, brother, Jason Daniel Cammack, and grandmother, Elizabeth (Betty) Raymer Cammack.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, John Albert Cammack Jr., grandfather, Fredrick Hogan, and grandmother, Jean Hogan.
