On Wednesday, August 3, 2022, Hollis Lloyd Wende a bad ass father of one and grandfather (Popeye) to three amazing granddaughters passed away at the young age of 67.
Hollis was born June 29,1955 in Bryan, Tx to Harvey and Frances Wende. He was a LEGEND in the Telecom sales world and known to many as the KING! He raised one son Luth on his own as a single father.
Hollis was passionate about classic cars, motorcycles, his grandchildren, his son Luth and closing deals! Hollis also loved heavy metal music which he passed along to his son and granddaughters who all share in this same love.
Hollis will be known and remembered for his sense of humor, living life to the fullest, fun loving spirit, and being the best father a man could be. He was a rock star of a man larger than life. Goodness was at the core of Hollis and he believed that being a good human was a treasure to this world.
He is preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Frances Wende; brothers James Bryan and James Harvey.
He is survived by his son Luth and wife Jerrika, granddaughters Annabell, Amelia and Ansley, brothers Harvey and Will, sisters Emily and Ellen.
