On Monday, December 6, 2021 Garry Robert Wells, aged 75, and Sheila Diane (Rester) Wells, aged 76 passed away together.
Garry was born on January 20, 1946 in Warrington, England. Sheila was born on October, 18 1945 in Texarkana, Arkansas.
They both joined the Marine Corp at the age of 18. They met at a USO dance at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina and were inseparable for the next 56 years of marriage. Garry did two tours in Vietnam and received two purple hearts.
They are survived by their son, Brian Wells and his wife, Stefanie; daughter, Melissa Clark and her husband, Adam; grandchildren, Aaron Wells, Ashley Wells, Daisy Clark, and Zoe Clark.
A burial service will be held on December 22, 2021 at 1:15 pm at the DFW National Cemetery, located at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX.
A celebration of life will be held afterwards from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm at the Doubletree by Hilton Arlington DFW South, located at 1507 N Watson Road, Arlington, TX.
