Ernie was born in Quezon City, Philippines on March 9, 1966. Born to Rey Almario and Virginia Galang. His family moved to New York in the early 70's where he graduated from high school and enlisted in the Navy. He served 4 years in San Diego on the USS Carl Vincent and later re-enlisted in the reserves for another 2 years. After the Navy service he moved from San Diego to Texas to be with his sister. In 1995 he married Tina Almario and in 2000 they had daughter Madelyn Almario. Ernie was passionate about his career in staffing and recruiting in the Engineering field. He was an avid softball player his entire adult life and his family's fondest memories were watching him play. Ernie was a great family man who enjoyed spending time at family gatherings and was always the life of the party.

Ernie fought prostate cancer for 7 long years ending this battle on May 22, 2021 in his home with his beloved family at his side. He is preceded in death by his father Rey, his mother Virginia and his brother Louie. He is survived by his wife Tina and daughter Maddie. Survived by his sister Aurora with her husband Brian, sons Alexander, Matthew and Mitchell. Survived by his brother-in-law Bobby and Robin along with their sons Robert, Justin, Will and Thomas. Survived by his sister-in-law Brenda along with her son Michael and daughter Kisha. Survived by several cousins and their families. He was well loved by his family and will be greatly missed.

Services will be held at Charles W. Smith and Sons of Sachse on Thursday May 27, 2021 at 2:00 PM (Dallas time)
