Enrique fue un hombre de pasión, amor y humor. Aunque a veces era callado, tenía mucha sabiduría para dar y mostrar. Él era el tipo de persona que picaría como una mariposa y volaría como una abeja. Lo que significa que era una persona muy gentil. Nació en un hermoso lugar de México. Un lugar donde viviría sus sueños como futbolista, profesionalmente a los 15 años.

Luego conocería al amor de su vida y comenzaría su matrimonio. Jugó profesionalmente para el equipo de fútbol de León, donde fue el delantero que fue el principal anotador del equipo. Luego tendría dos hijos, mi padre y mi tía, antes de ser reclutado en Estados Unidos para jugar profesionalmente en California.

ENGLISH TRANSLATION BELOW

Enrique was a man of passion, love and humor. Though he was quiet at times, he had plenty of wisdom to give and show. He was the type of person that would sting like a butterfly and fly like a bee. Meaning he was a very gentle person. He was born in a beautiful place in Mexico. A place where he would live out his dreams as a soccer (futbol) player, professionally at 15 years old.

Then he would meet the love of his life and start his marriage. He played professionally for the Leon soccer team, where he was the striker which was the main scorer for the team. He then would have two children, my father and my aunt, before being drafted to the USA to play professionally in California.

He enjoyed many things from napping, napping and more napping but many more things like music, soccer, family time, working on the yard, enjoying his lengua tacos to Menudo to dancing with his wife. They both enjoyed 64 years knowing each other and 62 years of marriage on June 24, 1957.

They would give him and his family sports visa to come to America. He played more soccer and eventually became a hands on handyman & warehouse worker during his years and raise his family in South Gate, where he would have three more children. Finally after living in California most of his life he and his wife, my grandmother, an aunt and some cousins would move to Wylie, Texas. He would start his own tile business and he would live peacefully until 2021 in July. He would celebrate his 88th birthday and ascend into heaven just two weeks after on July 31, 2021.

He was survived by his wife, 4 children and many grandchildren, along with great grandchildren. He always had a smile on his face, as you can see here. He always would be there to greet you and show his love to you. Isaiah 41:10 just gives a beautiful reminder that the Lord God is with us during times of mourning.

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous hand."
