Edna Elmborg

Edna Sara Elmborg died on Thursday, April 22, 2021, after a brave fight with cancer. Edna was born on December 11, 1931 to parents James and Emma Watkins. She was married to Richard William Elmborg, who passed away in August of 2020. She is survived by two of her children, Cynthia and Michael, five grandchildren, Leksi, Lukas, Hanna, Nathaniel, and Kristion, and one great-grandchild, William. Her oldest son Matthew proceeded her in death in 2018.

Edna was a loving mother who was devoted to her family. She loved to cook, and her family always gathered around her table for the wonderful meals she would create. Edna was a kind and cheerful person who always had a smile on her face. She was loved by all that met her, and she will be deeply missed by her family.

A funeral service is scheduled for 1 pm on May 2, 2021 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 2343 Lake Road in Lavon, Texas.
