Eddy Aaron Gonzales

March 24, 1965 — August 14, 2021

Eddy Aaron Gonzales, 56 of Rowlett, Texas, succumbed to covid pneumonia on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at the Dallas Regional Hospital in Mesquite Texas surrounded by the prayers of his family, friends, loved ones, and the entire fellowship of the Divine Peace church.

Eddy was born on March 24, 1965 in Waco, TX to Charles Gonzales and Josie Venegas, and is preceded in death by his father Charles. Eddy is survived by his wife Rhonda Gonzales, children Austin and Autumn Gonzales, mother Josie Venegas of Waco, sisters Jessica Montagnino, Jackie Daugherty of Virginia. Plus all of his nieces, nephews, and extended family. Eddy was a loving father, loyal friend, and kind hearted stranger to everyone else.

Eddy loved sports, especially football, where his all time favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys. He was an avid movie goer and occasional fisherman. Eddy found time to experience every little piece life had to offer. Eddy spent the vast majority of his life working, either on his self-improvement, or providing a better life for his family. He spent the last 30 years in the printing trade as a pressman. He used his free time to strengthen his bond with his children and loved ones, experiencing the full blessings of life. Eddy was always there when you needed him. Climbing a mountain of fire, or swimming through a sea of blades, he was always there when you needed him.

A special thank you goes out to the people of Eastgate Funeral Home for their loving care and support during this trying time. The family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude for being so accommodating and understanding with all of our wishes.
