Duane Mark Stubbe

Duane Mark Stubbe, age 58 of Royse City, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023. Duane was born May 13, 1964, in Limestone, Maine. He was a proud soldier in the United States Army, serving as a military police officer. He married Sandra Pinilla on June 13, 2009 in Garland, Texas. Duane was an honored police officer for Dallas County Hospital District for over 25 years. He served his community and was devoted to his fellow officers and staff at the numerous clinics across Dallas County.

He was a loving father, husband, and an amazing grandfather. He loved his cars, his boats, and his bikes, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family. Being an adventurous person, his love for scuba diving, sky diving, traveling, camping and all his toys were just a few of his favorite hobbies.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Stubbe, children, Jennifer Allison and her husband, Jason, of Howe, Texas, Jonathan Stubbe and his wife, Caitlyn, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Jorgia Bell and her husband, Stephen Moore, of Richardson, Texas, Jeri Stubbe and her fiancé, John, of Howe, Texas, his step sons Christian Serrano and his wife Taylour, of Royse City, Texas, and Giovanni Serrano and his wife Kelsey, of Royse City, Texas, his grandchildren, Jordan, Jeffrey, Jaedyn, Jazmin, Jeremiah, Kylee, Jynnaveve, Paxton, Elliot, Isla, Julian, Sophie, Stella, and Luka, also his brother Paul Stubbe and his wife Rosa, of Lubbock, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Stubbe and Ruth Stubbe-Coursey and his sister Donna Katzman. A memorial service will be held at Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home, 2925 5th Street, Sachse, Texas, on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.
