Doyce was born November 13, 1934 to Landrum Virgil and Ila Ferral Chapman and passed away, at the age of 87, November 23, 2021. He graduated from Princeton High School and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Princeton.
Doyce is survived by his brother-in-law, Jerry Wayne Perry of Garland; Niece, Beverly Ann Thompson (Tommy) of Rowlett; and nephew, Kevin Dwayne Recer of Garland.
Doyce was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Linda Gail Perry; nephew, Brian Keith Recer; and niece, Lisa Michelle Recer.
