Dorothy Louise Conant

Dorothy Louise Conant, age 90, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 11, 2021 in Sachse, Texas.

Mrs. Conant was born December 21, 1930 in Burleson, Texas to Ernest and Ethel Zachary and grew up in Dallas and Fort Worth, graduated from Paschal High School in 1949, married and resided in Arlington and Richardson before moving to Sachse in 1993. Mrs. Conant was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ and instilled a love of God in her children.

Mrs. Conant enjoyed raising her family, her many hobbies of sewing, quilting, creating porcelain dolls, painting gardening and needle work. Her joy in life and God inspired her children, family and friends.

Mrs. Conant served on the Board of Adjustments in Sachse. She was a member of the Sachse Historical Society, the Sachse Senior Center and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She retired from Rockwell Collins.

Mrs. Conant is preceded in death by her husband Paul L. Conant Sr., and survived by her beloved children Paul L. Conant Jr., David M. Conant, and Mary L. Saathoff; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brother David Zachary; nieces and nephews; friends; and her beloved dog, Lucy.
