Diana Lynn Rushing Whitfield passed from this life on January 12, 2012 in McKinney, Texas. She was born in McKinney on August 25, 1950 to Aaron Lee and Ruby Sadler Rushing.
Diana worked for the Texas Department of Transportation as an administrative assistant.
Her survivors include her daughter Jaime and husband Todd Recer of Trenton, Texas, three grandsons Lane, Cody and Levi Recer also of Trenton, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents A. L. and Ruby Rushing and a brother Bobby Rushing.
Visitation will be 5:00 " 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 601 S. Tennessee Street in McKinney, 972-526-7788 or cwsfuneralhome.com.
A Memorial Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 16, 2012 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Chapel in McKinney with the Reverend Dr. Aaron Meraz officiating.
