Dennis R. Neubauer

Dennis Ray Neubauer was born in Belleville, Kansas on January 19, 1943, to Helen and Arthur Neubauer. He passed away at home in Allen, Texas, on October 23, 2010, at the age of 67 after a courageous battle of nearly three years with cancer.
He grew up on a farm near Munden, Kansas and was active in 4-H Club. He was a graduate of Munden High School and Fort Hays Kansas State University.
He was united in marriage to Karen Peters on August 14, 1965, and to this union two children were born, Gregory Todd and Julie Renee.
He was a member of the National Guard and was called to active duty during the Berlin Crisis in 1961-62. Dennis had a sales career in the food industry for most of his life. He loved going to automobile races, University of Oklahoma football games, and traveling.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Karen, Allen, Texas; son, Greg Neubauer, Allen, Texas; daughter and her fianc, Julie Neubauer and Doug Eason and his daughter, Alexandria, Argyle, Texas; numerous cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held at noon on October 30, 2010, at St. Jude Catholic Church, Allen, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society or Stand Up To Cancer.
