David William Peters

David William Peters of Sachse Texas, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2023.  He was born December 19, 1940, to Wesley and Francis Peters, in Brockton, Massachusetts.  David enlisted in the Navy January 1963, and served 3 years active duty and 3 years in the reserves.  David was Honorably discharged in 1968.  David married Pamela Peters April 1976, in Lakeland Florida. They moved numerous times due to David’s job as an Instrument Engineer, but settled in Daphne, Alabama.  David was an avid boater and spent many weekends with friends and family on Mobile Bay.  David’s dry sense of humor often made him the life of the boating family.  He was preceded in death by his beloved parents.  Survivors include his wife Pamela Peters of 47 years; Daughter, Debbie Gary; sons, Robert and John Peters; stepdaughter, Tammy Decker; stepson, Michael Decker; 13 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.

Services will be held on Tuesday, April 18th at 11:15 am at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway Dallas, TX 75211.
